Normally I am full of optimism but world events have put a different spin on things. That is why you may notice the sarcasm in the title. The economy is in the pits, we still have two major wars going on. Just so that I won’t rain on anyone else’s parade I will try to add a positive note in which to end this short post. I still believe that things can turn around and start guiding us to a more positive place. Call me Polly Anna – Pollyannaish is what I mean!
You may ask why I say that things will change for the better? Call me silly but I still feel that there is a lot of good in people. That good will in the end win out over evil. It is just that people have to start noticing what is going on around them and take proper steps to correct the wrong actions taken.
As Americans we had the idea of being a favored nation under God. Mull over that concept/idea and try to see the logic or illogic of such thinking. Trying to keep up with the Jones's we always thought that we could always make more money and remain in the race. Never really gave much thought to what the race was all about or if it was worth competing in it. I will add more to this as I go along.
